For about, oh...I don't know...the last YEAR, Kristin and I have been talking about the possibility of a road trip during AJ's deployment. We wanted to find somewhere pretty much in the middle of where we live, meet, and spend a weekend. Over Easter weekend Kristin, our friend Sammie, and I were all able to get some time off work and spend the weekend together in Memphis. It was great to get away, and to spend a weekend with those two amazing women!
We had dinner at B.B. King's Blues Club on Beale St. our first night there.
We got to listen to live music while we ate, too. Our first taste of Memphis night life and all the amazing music that goes along with it!
Saturday night we ended up at a dueling piano bar, which was not quite as lively as the one I've been to before, but still lots of fun!
